Last week, we were happy to have the eight community liaisons from Musqueam (Musqueam Indian Band), Alert Bay (U'mista Cultural Society), and Chilliwack (with representatives from Coqualeetza Cultural Centre, Stó:lō Nation and Stó:lō Tribal Council) come to the Museum of Anthropology on Musqueam traditional territory in Vancouver for a three day workshop. Over the course of the three days, discussions centered on how to improve the User Submitted Content sections of the RRN, and on the appearance and functions of the login page and dashboard.
Between the many productive sessions, we had the opportunity to visit the Adult Learning Centre and Direction 7 Art and Design, and to attend a community luncheon with the Nuu-chah-nulth Nation at Musqueam.
It was great to have everyone here, and we're already busy turning the ideas shared into.
