Lawrence and myself had the opportunity to attend an early learning and literacy fair on Saturday. It was an event that was well attended.

We prepared our table, and got the power point presentations running. A lot of interest was generated around the RRN, and the organizers were pleased to see us there.
Sharing the RRN
Quite a few teachers became very interested in the idea of community based research. I emphasized the importance of the children leading the way, as they are computer literate. They can take these skills to the elders and facilitate the exchange of information. We had a very good reception from all that came and visited us, and I look forward to connecting with the teachers. Hopefully this will lead to some invitations to present at our local schools in the near future.
